Who we are

Sense and Drive is a start-up company founded in 2019. with a focus on innovative technologies in the field of power electronics, such as the wide-bandgap semiconductors applications, complex converter topologies, state-of-the-art measurement methods, as well as novel control technologies. Our mission is to make these technologies applicable and affordable for the broad market in two ways: developing research-aid equipment and direct collaboration on customer-specific projects.

The company’s name is derived from the fundamental aspects of power electronics: sensing changes in electrical (and mechanical) systems in order to drive power conversion in a (closed-loop) controlled way. Since the early days of power electronics, this concept has been used in various systems, regardless of voltage / current / power range and application requirements.

Our focus is on modular prototyping solutions, safety and protection as well as innovative measurement technologies. We deliver the entire ecosystem that redefines the possibilities of power electronics and is tailored to customers’ specific needs.
